As a true mascara addict, I am always searching for the biggest, newest and best. Coming this weekend, I will feature one about Benefit's latest, "They're Real", which I can honestly say I LOVE! That is a first for Benefit mascara for me.
THIS post however, focuses on a drugstore find, Maybelline One by One Volum' Express. This mascara claims to give you volume without the bulk, with a brush that de-clumps and detangles.
I am always attracted to anything promising volume. My own lashes, while dark and somewhat long, are not abundant or voluminous. Here is a before shot of me with no mascara. My lashes are curled though, I am jealous of girls who don't have to curl!
No mascara.....
In this next photo, I have mascara on my right eye, upper and lower lashes.
In the next two photos, I have mascara on both eyes. As you can see, I got a lot of length and volume!
I have experienced slight flaking with this mascara, but when I used an eye primer, either Benefit's Stay Don't Stray or Urban Decay's Primer Potion, the flaking was minimal.
I really like the results I got from this mascara. It retails for 6 bucks or so at major retailers.
